About our school

Kingswood High School is a comprehensive coeducational high school established in 1969 and located in the Penrith valley area.

The school is located in the traditional country of the Dharrug people and predominantly draws its students from the areas of Caddens, Claremont Meadows, Orchard Hills, Kingswood and South Penrith. The school is comprised of 950 students, including 12.4% of students from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and 10.3% of students who receive English language proficiency support.

The school occupies spacious grounds with specialised facilities, including a state of the art trade training centre, student managed café, after school homework club, fully-equipped gym, a diverse primary industry farm and the Kingswood recording studio. The school is committed to developing socially responsible, self-disciplined, motivated, life-long learners in a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. We focus on giving young people voice, being active learners and developing strong character qualities that will enable them to succeed, thrive and contribute positively throughout life.

Kingswood High School offers a well-rounded, holistic education for all students through providing opportunities for students to engage successfully in academic, sporting, creative and performing arts and vocational areas. Connect, apply, inspire is the key technology framework utilised to create innovative and future-focused learning experiences. We value strong community engagement to complement the existing partnerships across the Kingswood learning community and Penrith Education Alliance networks to maximise learning and support successful educational pathways for all.
