Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

I would like to welcome you to Kingswood High School. Our students have an impressive record of academic, cultural and sporting achievements, which reflects their wide range of talents, interests and abilities.

Our school has an excellent mix of highly experienced and effective staff who will provide your child with the resources and expertise to assist them to reach their potential.

As a school we endeavour to improve student learning through setting high expectations in every classroom, every lesson. Building the capacity of teachers to continuously hone their skills in developing and designing innovative future focused learning experiences for students will enable them to be well prepared for life after school.

We have a strong welfare system with a comprehensive merit scheme that recognises student achievement and effort, and a code of conduct that provides clear and consistent expectations on student behaviour. We promote a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect so that students feel connected to our safe and happy school.

Adam Forbes, Principal of Kingswood High School
